Bento Zapier Integration

Overview

The Bento Zapier Integration offers three core functionalities:

• Event Tracking: Track events for your subscribers
• Data Management: Update user data and record lifetime value (LTV) metrics
• Flow Triggers: Trigger workflows based on events

Requirements

1. Active Bento account with a site created
2. Active Zapier account
3. Bento Api keys

Installation Steps

Bento Api Keys

To generate your keys visit your team page here, and select Your Private API Keys button at the top right

On Zapier

When creating a Zap with Bento, you will need to connect Bento & Sign In.

Fill in your credentials

Using the API Keys you generated in Bento, fill in the credentials. You will also need to fill in the site uuid from Copy UUID button.

make sure you copy and paste the correct keys.

Complete the Sign In

Double check the keys are correct and click Yes, Continue to Bento.

Please note that Zapier does not validate the keys, so if you enter the wrong keys you will not be able to connect. and your Zap will not work.

How the connection works

With the Zapier integration, you can automate the tracking and tagging of subscribers from events. You can also add custom data, such as purchase information, to these events. This purchase data can be used to calculate LTV, initiate automations, start drip campaigns, and more.
